Held Dofasco Inc. senior level positions of responsibility in Sales, Marketing, Automotive, Construction, Tubular Products, Business Development, Price Control and Strategy. Track record in leading teams for both organic and inorganic profitable growth, continuous improvement and business transformation.

Board of Director responsibilities at a joint venture subsidiary including governance and due diligence experience related to potential and actual acquisitions.

Past Associations and Board positions include Canadian Steel Sheet Building Institute; Automotive Industry Action Group; National Coil Coaters Association; Metals Steel Service Center Institute.
 
Proven track record for "smelling money and waste" in a supply chain in the metals ecosystem and getting dollars to the bottom line.

International business experience in the U.S.A, Mexico, Europe, South East Asia and Brazil​.

Consulting experience in Organizational Health and Business Performance Improvement including setting and managing Shareholder Expectations.


Post retirement career with the privately held Giampaolo Group of Companies from 2015 to 2018.  Initially provided exclusive consulting services, culminating in serving on the Group Management Board and a functional role as Vice President Human Resources and Corporate Development. Negotiated largest acquisition in Group history in the U.S.A. Aluminum billet and slab market vertical.

​Graduate of Ivey Business School with Dean's Honor List Designation for Scholastic Excellence. ​ Regular Guest Lecturer at the annual Ivey School of Business Leader's Learn forum. ​

Prior full-time employment at the Ivey Business School as a Lecturer, Case Writer, Researcher and instructor for level 1 programs for the Canadian Institute of Management. ​Many business cases and articles are still used by business schools around the world.
